When the user closes and re-opens the Office application, it is up to date. Updates happen without work interruption, as they are cached in the background. Office ProPlus also allows you to download new features and updates more frequently, with time to test and validate releases before fully deploying them. Most importantly, while Office 365 ProPlus is supported on Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 7 Service Pack 1, and the two of the latest versions of macOS, Office Professional Plus 2019 cannot be used on Windows 7 or Windows 8.1. It includes several capabilities like Ideas in Excel, Researcher in Word, storage facility with OneDrive, real-time collaboration with several users on various applications, and enhanced security features not available with Office Professional Plus 2019. Office 365 ProPlus offers several advantages compared to Office Professional Plus 2019.
